Re Y (A Child)

A judge making care and placement orders in respect of a two-year-old child had not had the necessary expert evidence assessing the mother’s ability to provide long-term care with support, despite her learning disabilities. The orders were set aside and the case remitted for case management to enable the necessary evidence to be obtained.
