Profile

Prior to commencing pupillage, Imogen worked as a County Court Advocate, attending over 700 court hearings and undertaking drafting work on a range of matters, including property and contractual disputes.

At university, Imogen was an editor for the Bristol Law Review, in addition to an editor and contributor to one of the University’s law blogs. During her LLM study, Imogen’s dissertation focused on transparency in the family courts, entitled ‘The Family Courts and Privacy: is it time to open up?’. She maintains a keen interest in writing.

Imogen was also a keen mooter at university, representing Bristol in national competitions. Since graduating, she has acted as a Judge for the University’s internal competitions. As well as this, she acts as a mentor for those seeking to obtain Inn scholarships through Her Bar and Young Bar Mentoring.

In her free time, Imogen enjoys cooking, going to the theatre and travelling.
