F and S (Special Guardianship Order with Supervision Order)

The case considered the relevant guidance in relation to the making of special guardianship orders in public law proceedings. In addition to this the case also considered the March 2021 final report of the President’s Public Law Working Group, entitled “Recommendations to achieve best practice in the child protection and family justice systems” & the June 2020 “Family Justice Council Public Law Working Group recommendations to achieve best practice in the child protection and family justice systems (Special Guardianship Orders)”.
